On August 18-19, 2026, the Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University in collaboration with the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, UPPM FK Unud, and Co-assistent student partnered with Klinik Bali Sehat Held Training for Basic Life Support and Initial Management for Drowning for the diver community in Karangasem
Designed specifically for the local diver community, participants gained essential skills in Basic Life Support (BLS) and emergency drowning management through interactive theory and hands-on mannequin practice.
To give back further, the team also conducted pain screenings for local residents and the community to lay the groundwork for upcoming community pain management outreach.
Equipping our coastal communities with the knowledge to act fast in emergencies makes every dive—and every day—safer for everyone.
The event was followed by Tirta Yatra Prayer to Goa Lawah Temple. Here, we offer our prayer and be thankful for the successful event.
